Bio
I live in Denver, Colorado, with my husband and three children, all grown with families of their own. We're a lively bunch and have a lot of fun together. I love Colorado for its amazing scenery, wildlife, and wonderful people.
Caring about people and appreciating beauty have always been a strong part of me. I have a Fine Arts degree from Carleton College and studied the art and culture of several West African countries on a Watson Fellowship my post graduate year. When I returned, I attended UCLA and earned a Masters in Social Work. My professional careers have been as a social worker, and later, as a businesswoman.
Now, in retirement, I am a filmmaker and work with the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame producing documentary films that tell the fascinating stories of the courageous and pioneering women who have impacted Colorado's development and culture. The films air on Rocky Mountain PBS as the "Great Colorado Women Series" and can be viewed at any time on the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame and Rocky Mountain PBS websites and on YouTube.
